Well, let's go back to 1979, puts me about 6 years old. I think this is the first time I remember playing with hot wheels and other toy cars. I love cars. I love fast cars. There are two jobs I would have right now if I wasn’t doing what I currently do, one is be a storm chaser, the other a race car driver.
So, let's jump forward to July 2007. I had a 2005 350Z. It had ingen exhaust installed by Dynocomp in Scottsdale (Dynocomp turns out to be where I have all the engine work done). On the dyno, the exhaust added about 20HP, pretty good for just an exhaust. Then, I totaled the car. I think I would still be in the Z if I hadn't wrecked it. Just for the record, I swerved to miss a tire tread in the middle of the road just as I was merging onto the freeway on the 10 and Broadway. I was going the same speed as the car in front of me, who swerved to the left to miss the tread, leaving me to hit it straight on. I swerved to the right, the back end came around, sent me into a 360, slid across 4 lanes, got hit by 2 cars and slammed into the median.
No citations, no blame, just a totaled 350Z. It was really sad and very unfortunate.
